Greetings All:
This friday, we will be discussing your health, my health, and health in general.
The topic is Men's Health. Come and share your wisdom with others about how to maintain a healthy diet, healthy mind, and a healthy soul.
If you haven't had your annual checkup, you may want to take Friday morning off to do this before you come to Men's fellowship and confess you haven't had a annual checkup for a decade :-)
Anyways, I'm sure there's plenty to discuss and share..........
As always, bring a friend.....and a 'healthy snack'...........

Cheryl and Bryan Hawkins will be conducting an evangelism training workshop Saturday, June 5, from 7 to 9 PM. - This workshop is open to all.
Conversational Evangelism -
Does the word "Evangelism" make your palms sweat? Does it intimidate you to think about sharing the gospel with your friends or family? Do you wonder how you can bridge everyday conversation to spiritual things without it being awkward?
Evangelism is not something we need to create or a presentation of facts, it is engaging people in the conversations that are already going on all around us. It is helping people to answer the questions they are already asking.
At this workshop on Conversational Evangelism, come and learn how people all around you are already talking about the Gospel, how to identify it yourself, and how to help them make the connection.
Come and learn 3 skills that will help you to assess what people are already talking about all around you, by listening and asking good questions. Come and learn how evangelism can become natural and a normal part of everyday life - a way of life.

Events: CEMCQ Co-workers Mtg II - 9/25/2010

A Second coworkers meeting is scheduled for Saturday, September 25th from
9am-12pm. Breakfast will be provided.
The meeting is a continuation of the
first meeting and will focus upon church ministries. All church members and
regular attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend this important
meeting.

The CCF and Teen Fellowship is hosting a 'Date Night' child care for the parents of CEMCQ - to encourage couples to go out and have a date alone while entrusting their children to the care of CCF/Teen Fellowship on 3/27/10 from 6-10pm.

Next Women’s Fellowship will be meeting on Friday, September 10th at 8pm.
The program, ”Loving Our Family, Feeding Their Stomachs & Touching Their
Heart”, will be led by Sara Chung and Anna Li.
Please bring 1-3 photos of your family and a snack to share.

Old archives: Mission: Operation Christmas Child - 11/15, 11/22 2009

Every year, CEMCQ participates in the mission of Operation Christmas Child - pray for and collecting filled care package shoeboxes, then send them to Samaritan's Purse Relief ministries. They in turn will personally deliver these shoeboxes along with the gospel message to bless under privileged children around the world during Christmas season.
This year, we'll collect the boxes on Nov. 15,
and deliver those boxes on the week of 11/16-11/21.
Due to high volume of requests, we'll extend the collection another week to 11/22.
If you wish to participate:
- please bring in your final filled shoeboxes to church on 11/22
- do NOT pack inappropriate items (e.g. pocket knives, liquid products, spoil goods, etc.)
- wrap the lid and bottom separately if you wish
- do NOT seal the boxes, as they need to be examined before delivered
- include $7 for postage

Old archives: Chinese Evangelistic Worship Service - 10/04/2009

Chinese Congregation in conjunction with the Missions’ Month theme, will be holding an Evangelistic Worship Service on Sunday, 10/4/09, 11:30am at the Sanctuary.
A potluck luncheon fellowship will follow after the service.
Please invite your un-churched, Chinese speaking family and friends to join us for this special outreach event.

Save the Date - Saturday, October 17th is Bread and Water Packaging Day! The Women's Fellowship is once again hosting this ministry of supporting orphanages, a school for disadvantaged children and village doctor training programs in China, India and Liberia (visit www.breadandwater.org).
We will be packaging items in the morning; stay as long as you like. Come and make a difference in the world for God's Kingdom!
We start at 10am.
